Barbara's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with minor in Forestry and Wildlife from the University of California at Berkeley; and an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She is a Certified EcoBroker„¥, an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, and has completed numerous accredited real estate courses in law, finance, brokerage, market analysis, fair housing, and agency representation. In addition to her extensive experience in real estate brokerage, Barbara has held the position of senior paralegal for major firms in Seattle WA and San Francisco CA. Her educational training includes vineyard growing and food-wine courses at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. She is a member of EcoBroker International, the Luxury Home Council, the Rogue Valley Association of Realtors, & the National Association of Realtors.

PERSONAL INTERESTS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Her personal background and interests are varied: She and her husband co-owned and operated a scenic yacht-cruising business in the San Juan Islands, WA, and spent two years living on far-off islands in the Pacific. With a great love for the natural environment, they chose the beautiful Rogue River Valley to settle and make their home several years ago, enjoying the region's kayaking, boating, fishing, and camping as well as the many music and vineyard festivals held locally. Barbara serves on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Conservation Science and Policy, has served as a member of the Klamath-Siskiyou Advisory Council to the World Wildlife Fund's regional conservation program in Ashland, as a Board Member of the Schneider Museum of Art in Ashland, and as a member and volunteer at the Britt Festivals in Jacksonville.
