About Windermere / Van Vleet & Associates
We live where you live ... or where you wish you lived!
We work and play here. We've raised our families here. No one knows Southern Oregon better than the agents at Windermere / Van Vleet & Associates. Is it any wonder the Mail Tribune's readership voted us a "Readers Choice" among the valley's best real estate companies?
Our Guarantee
We are so certain that you'll be satisfied with our services that we are willing to make the following guarantee: Should you experience a problem, or otherwise feel that we are not doing absolutely everything we can to market your property, just pick up the phone and let us know. If we can't resolve the problem, or make you feel better within 48 hours, then we will release you from your listing agreement.
A Little History

Our Ashland office, circa 1965.

Our Medford office from 1978 to 1992.
The Van Vleet Real Estate Company was established in 1955 by Robert E. (Bob) Van Vleet, who opened a small, two-room office on the corner of Francis Lane and Siskiyou Blvd. in Ashland, now part of Southern Oregon University campus.
Louise Myers joined Van Vleet as a salesperson in 1957, followed by Leo Zupan in 1960. The company decided to incorporate, retaining the Van Vleet name. In 1964, Van Vleet purchased a lot at the corner of 3rd and Lithia Way in Ashland, and built a single story brick building. A second story was later added to this building, and the Ashland Van Vleet office remains there still. In 1972, John Zupan graduated from college and joined the firm as a salesperson. In 1975 Bob and Lou retired, and sold their corporation stock to Leo and John. In 1978, Van Vleet expanded again and built a large new brick building at 510 Crater Lake Avenue, Medford.
In 1992, after outgrowing the Crater Lake Avenue building, a new Medford office was built at our present location of 1117 E. Jackson St., Medford. This building was enlarged in early 2005 to nearly double it's original size.
Van Vleet is an active member of the Oregon Association of Realtors, and was a charter member of the Ashland Multiple Listing Service, leaders in merging the Ashland Multiple Listing Service and the Medford Multiple Listing Service into a computerized Jackson County Multiple Listing Service to better serve the community.
Growing to become the largest independent real estate firm in Jackson County, in 1993 Van Vleet looked into the future and saw how real estate marketing was changing. To better serve the needs of their clients and customers, they teamed with Windermere, the largest real estate firm in the Northwest.
Van Vleet and Associates, Inc., has been a very progressive office these past 4 decades ... one of the oldest firms in Jackson County, growing from a two-person office in 1955 to a staff today of more than 70.
